Tweeked SOGs
on: September 01, 2011, 05:45:26 PM
Heres the second of my slightly modded SOGs,in this case a knifeless PPP:

The snips fitted in surprisingly easily, and dont make a big difference to the closing of the tool.

Unfortunatly I had to temperarily strip the PPP rescue tool down, but parts are on the way to rebuild that, and to add a couple of tricks to my Paratool.Pix as and when :D

Very nice mate and pretty much what I was thinking of doing with mine.  Mind if I ask where you got the parts from?

I pulled the pocket clip off a two dollar knife and through it on a sog I edc. It works great.

An old picture of my Paratool with a saw.  I probably carry this tool (along with a knife) more than any of my others

Thats a nice looking Para!I have plans for mine, and the last of the parts are on their way to me from the States as we speak.I like the look of the old style V cutter.I've looked at getting them, but the costs were way too much!

Yeah, its not often that you see SOGs serrated line cutter blade on a tool. Unlike their newer v-cutter, the line cutter can at least be sharpened. :tu:
