Alright Well, Today I Traded A Friend Of Mine For A Gerber Hinderer Rescue Knife With Everything And In Very Lightly Carried Condition(Not Anymore).
It Seemed Like A Pretty Sweet Knife And I Had Never Ground A Rescue With A Curve And A Blunt Tip And Figured This Would Look Really Cool Plain Edge And Would Make A Hell Of A User.
So I Made It Into A Project.

I Modded/Reprofiled It Into A Plain Edge. It's Not The Greatest Job I've Done. Lots Of Scratches.

And One More Little Serration "Nick" That I Couldn't Get Out Completely This Time. But The More I Go Over It And Work With It, That Will Disappear. But It Does Nothing To The Functionality And Performance Of The Knife. Really It Just Needs To Smooth Out On The Side. As That's Where The Mishap In The Smoothness Is Coming From Because I Couldn't Grind It Down As Much As I Would Have Liked.

I Do All Of My Sharpening And Grinding/Re-Grinding On Stones.
Over All I'm Pretty Pleased And Happy, Shaves Hair, Slices Paper, And Feels Great In The Hand And Pocket.
I Don't Care About The Scratches Because Now It Looks What It's Meant To Be, A User. Gives It Originality And A Uniqueness To It That Only I Could Create On My Own Knife. Has Some Character To It! Lol.
Overall It's Just A Really Cool Knife And Even Better If You'd Like To Keep a Rescue Knife/Tool Around. Of Course Mine Isn't Such A "Rescue Knife" Anymore.

And The Pics To Show And Tell:
1.) General View Of Blade.

2.) The Little Serration "Nick" And You Can See The Tip. The Tip Is Not Very Pointy Because It Used To Be Blunt But It Is Great And Will Serve The Purpose For EDC Tasks. Plus After More Time With The Stones It May Become More Defined.

3.) Overall View Of The Knife, And A Pretty Good Look At The Edge.

4.) Here's Where The Scratches Are Pretty Bad, But They Aren't Deep. And Really I Always Kinda Liked The Used Look Rather Than Pretty New In Box. That's Why I Got Rid Of All Of My Pretty Stuff.(Besides My SAK's)

5.) Pretty Much Just A View Of The Knife.

Just Got It And Already Love It.
