My google fu is AWESOME today. >:D

I've also been looking at the ThruNite T10 (another compact 1xAA) and the ThruNite Ti.  Not had any experience with these two but they look very good to me.

Not to spend your money, mate, enabling isn't my thing ;) but do you know you can have both of these, T10 + Ti = $29,99 with shipping straight from the manufacturer. They opened the store about a month ago and are having promo sales.

 :ahhh

why am I now filling out some customer details?

Same reason as me - that Nikola is a bad influence  :twak: :D

I'm considering the T10S or T20S. Probably soon too. ;) I just had a few unforeseen mishaps in the last month that cost me about a month and a half's salary.

Ouch! I was looking at the stainless the ones too, but thankfully the neutral white's weren't in stock at that time.

Just received my first edc flashlight. A 'HUGSBY XP-1' I went the less expensive route primarily, but will probably move up if and when these give out. My wife will keep one in her bag as well.
$12 for TWO, with free shipping from a U.S store,  supposed 120lm, reversible pocket clip so i can mount on my hat, rear click on. Only one mode tho.
I was very interested in the Thrunite ti3, but i dont think ill like the twist on feature. I guess it helps with accidental waste of batteries tho.
Well todays my first day with a torch on my side  :D

It's a slippery slope you're on. :D  Those look OK TBH, and at $6 a piece you can't complain.

10-4, they even have o-rings at all thread points and around the lens. Its definitely a slippery, but awesome slope, and our place here is the ski lift

A Smiling Shark SS-5039 3W. I wasn't expecting much from a 2.5 Euro flashlight, just went with the cheapest AAA I could find to replace my Maglite Solitaire in the Surge sheath.
I'm quite impressed by it, good fit and finish, nice aluminum body, great grip, nice, tactile back- tailcap, good clip and quite bright.
Easily blows out of the water my Maglite and even my LedLenser K2L.

I quite like the design, is different than your usual cylindrical lights. I want to grab one to try my hands at some modding.

The Hugsby's are great ones, whether you're starting or if you've been in the nuthouse for a while. Thorfire seems to be coming up with some interesting AAA options as well, and on the inexpensive side.

Two more shinies (these really are shiny) additions:

UltraFire Q5 300 lm Green. I got it as a present, but decided to keep it. Nice, decent quality, good clip, very bright. Good looks. Nothing special. OW! Update.. I just realised it is a semi-zoomie (it has 2 positions, if you pull the front part forward.. niice)

SkyRay 9500 XML U2 - now that's a beast. Great looking, comfortable button and ow so retardedly bright. I got a 20 USD gift card from eBay and pulled the trigger on this. Not sure if it's original, but it's good quality and very very bright. It's basically 7 CREE flashlights tied together. During the day it lit up the whole house, dwarfing my Ultrafire 2000. I expect tonight for the planes to signal me back. I think I should properly review this one...

Very nice Corwyn, I like the looks of that Skyray a lot.  I really don't need a huge/super-bright torch, but I do want one. :D

I think you'll be happy enough with the Micorstream.  If not you might want to look at the LED Lenser P2 as being somewhat similar, though I'm not a fan of the focus on such a small light.

I dont like the LED lenser focus either.  I prefer a solid body flashlight.

A classic haha 2AAA MiniMaglite.  About a bright as a spark from a ferro rod, wait not really.  I like the color of the beam and the low light usability and well the color.  $1US I couldn't say no and it came with batteries.

This Energizer HardCase 2AA LED flashlight was on sale for $10.88 at Farm and Fleet (midwest USA store chain).

It is dual mode: 250 and 30 lumens.

How good is that lite? I seen then in Tractor Supply (used to be Farm and Fleet) for about 10 bucks also. Kinda wondered if they would be a good back up lite or a good cheap work lite.

The 2AA HardCase is certainly worth more than $10, but I wouldn't have paid $20.  It is bright for a beater type task light, though the tint on mine has a slight hint of green.  I appreciate the two different brightness levels and the large pushbutton.  It is easy to use when wearing thick winter gloves.

It has an excellent lanyard attachment point.  I made a simple paracord lanyard for it.

The HardCase is larger than a tubular 2AA aluminum light, but I dig the slightly soft, rubbery feel of the flashlight and don't fear dropping it by accident.

I had just two Maglite Solitaires until today (regular and LED)  and a couple of medical lights for pupil reflexes. Today I got my first "tactical" light by accident, it is a Streamlight Stylus Pro, 10€ used in great condition. It looks good to me, 65 lumens. Do you know it?
