Got these two today, though the 2nd one is going back to the shop as its back does not close properly.

It's not a flashlight, but this is up next on my list...

http://www.spark001.com/Products.aspx?ProductID=32

I generally don't care for external battery packs on my headlamps, but for this one I'm going to make an exception because of the versatility it will offer because of the wide range of different power sources it can run off of.  For my around-the-house usage, my single AA headlamps just don't give me enough run-time, so I'm willing to deal with the external battery pack for the run-time.

Of course, after that, I'm sure something will come up that I'll find I'll need another headlamp for as well...

Hate the clip - it's beastly! Just took if off and will be using a P7 type clip or a lanyard.

It does look out of proportion from the pics, is that the issue?  Or is it just not well executed?

It doesn't quite get close enough to the end of the light (in either direction) to seat the light low in my pocket well. Also, it has a bit of a death grip on it and was tearing up my jeans

Good to know.  This light was definitely on my radar so any feedback on it is excellent. :tu:

No probs, so far it is ok on a clip - don't think I've turned it on in my pocket yet either :D

These two, got them two weeks ago along with a red 2 AA MagLite I got for the car. At 14€ it was hard to resist temptation. I really like the Mag's candle mode. Wonder how hard fitting them with a LED bulb can be and if they will still have that wide/narrow beam feature?

Anyway... The LED Lenser most of you already know. I like this dude, does it's job well. I'm concerned by the 4 pill-shape batteries it takes though. I keep it my my jeans 5th pocket next to the Vic Pioneer and saw it got some scratches revealing a brass colour. So, it's not made of aluminium then? Don't really care, to be honest. Wonder if the exposed bulb coulb be a problem...

The Alpin brand has inundated the market here for some years now and I'm told they're selling well. Relatively cheap, probably made in China but seem decent, work well. Will add a further review on those once I have runtimes and facts. Takes a AA battery, it's water resistant and comes with an orange peel reflector, hi/lo/SOS mode and the tactical mode where you can throw a quick flash without switching the thing on. I kinda dislike the fact I have to go through every mode to turn it off eventually. I keep this in my bag. Total cost for the three of them was 45€. Could be better but I have my EDC needs covered for now. (I knew what I was getting into when I joined MTo :D ) Cheers, people

Can't believe there is yet another version of the Ti out.  Off the top of my head I can think of the Ti Firefly, the Ti, the Ti2 and now the TiS.  I have to say I like my Ti and would still be using it if I wasn't still in the middle of my love affair with my Eagletac. :dd:
