Spyderco Tenacious question.
on: December 28, 2011, 01:09:15 AM
Well I was messing around with my Tenacious and flipped the clip around to carry right side tip up. I had some trouble seeing what the pattern of the screw's are. I found something that fit, but not very well and would like to see if anyone knows what pattern and size the clip on the Tenacious uses. I just bought a set of bit including Security Torx for my Wave, but none of them fit the Tenacious pocket clip.  :(

Wish I could help but my Tenacious was routed to a city 40 miles from me and delivery is delayed. No wonder the  USPS is loosing money.

Should be either a T6 or T8 standard torx bit.

I am having that same problem mate , I did some research & I believe they are a standard hex fastener so try a small Allan key. I believe the Chinese made Spydercos use a variety of fasteners with the Tenacious & this has lead to some confusion

If it's Hex, try a 1.5MM or 2MM metric hex key.

Just changed my Tenacious's pocket clip around & used a standard 1.5mm hex Allan key to do it  :tu: :tu:
