Craftsman multi tool

Does anyone remember the Craftsman multi tool ? I actually own one. I don`t carry it I would hate to break it since it is discontinued. I just notice not much info is around on them.

There were numerous models that carried the Craftsman name- Bear Cutlery's Bear Jaws and Schrade's Tough Tool series are the ones that jump to mind, and there is also a bunch of cheap imports that are available now.

Does it look like this?

Or this?

Or something completely different?

The one I have looks like the Toolzall pro that Grant pictured. Except mine says Craftsman on the handles.

Huh.  I have the Schrade Tough tool version and I have Kershaw labelled A100.  I don't have the Toolzall tool though.

Me too. I watched one a couple weeks ago go for $120+ on the bay. Some one wanted that tool badly.

I`ve got one of the Bear/Craftsman.
What? Enablers! Are you serrrrious? Where? I dont see any.

The pliers are great.  Slipjoint too.  They're as good as a dedicated tool.  The bit driver works great, but God help you if you ever lost/damaged a bit.  They're a tiny little thing.  Because of the dimensions of the tool, the blades are very difficult to use.

I EDC'd mine for a couple Summers and eventually went back to a PST.

I don't think there is a stronger multitool plier head out there than the one on the Schrade ST5/Craftsman Professional. :)  The way one jaw goes entirely through the other jaw makes it just about bomb proof. :salute:

The bear jaws was made in slight variations over the years
like the pst the plier has got stronger and other changes.
There is a locking version and a non locking version also
I own 4 variations and I have seen 5 variations

The schrade tool is awesome! I used it to cut a pocket clip in half and a couple pieces of hard wire at the same time
I bent some thicker wire also in order to see if it will bend the pliers apart. Some members here already know I cut pocket clips and multiple pieces of hanger to test tools and I have broken some pliers over the years. This tool is bomb proof as Bob says.
