Car tools?
on: January 08, 2012, 04:47:26 PM
I am putting this in the Collector's Forum because this is definitely more a collector than a user!

What does Bob The Builder's evil twin drive? Simple- he drives a Tooligan!

This sporty little number is the ultimate car for any tool nut or plier person- not only is the body crafted in the shape of tools, but there are also some useful tools built in!  Immediately obvious are the large crescent wrench side panels, but if you look closer you'll see Phillips screwdrivers on top of the fenders- you can see better in the next photo:

In this picture you also see the measuring tape bumper, which is at least as good as the measuring tape found on 58mm Victorinox or Leatherman Squirts!  Flipping the car over you get to see what it's really all about though!

Looking underneath you see that the Tooligan sports a 1/4" slot (hear that Leatherman?  Even Hot Wheels has figured out how to put a 1/4" drive on their stuff!  :pok: ) and you can see that the crescent wrench/spoiler isn't just riveted or bolted on, it's one piece with the whole frame of the car, and should be at least slightly useful.

While I wouldn't expect Mr Whippy to carry one of these for farm chores, it actually is a pretty cool little tool and looks great next to a Victorinox truck!

I am surprised they made it.

I am also more surprised I did not see it in the shops as it appears to be available everywhere.
I must get one..

:pok: How about one with Multitool.org on ??

If there was a way, I'd be all over it!  :D

If you are looking for one, look for a silver one too- they came in both colors.

Here's some pics of it I took when I got it:

Will do  :tu:

Though they are from the States so they may take a few weeks.  :(

I am sure some people here must have a few hundreds of them...(Gold, Silver, 1st edition, special edition, Factory mistakes, signed etc)  :D

Check eBay they are quite cheap.

Yeah, I have seen them on eBay in the past.  I found this one locally as they are cheap enough to buy in a store.  The money I save by buying them on eBay will probably end up costing more because of shipping!

Thanks Bob- I figured it had to be something, but for the life of me I couldn't figure it out!  :D

Now if only I could get you to see the piggy in a Victorinox Lite I'd be all set!  :P

Discussions like this make me wonder if someone out there is writing a psychology thesis on us... and I wonder how badly they'll fail when no one believe it's the truth!

I am surprised nobody mentioned the Zila or the Guppie in that thread.... Or maybe they were too obvious
