Schrade SCHF1SM Extreme Survival One-Piece Knife

Anyone have one of these?  They look like a better version of the old cruddy hollow handle Rambo knives.  It's made of one solid piece of metal.  I know it wouldnt be super high quality, but I'm thinking it might be fun to play with.

I have not had any luck with the "new" Schrade slipjoints but I have not had any of their fixed blades.
If they are built to the same quality "standard" as their slipjoints then I would not bother.

The one you are looking at, in case you did not see it, is not stainless steel.

By the way, you can easily find US made Schrade knives, new but built before Schrade was sold, with 440C steel on ebay for less than $20.

the two in the picture were bought for around $15 each with sheath (as far as I remember)

However, you can never have too many Rambo knives, so if the price was about half what they are being sold for on amazon, I would get one too...

The new Schrade one piece survival knives are 1075 steel and by all reports, actually pretty good pieces.

They are being advertised as 1070, whatever difference that makes....

0.7% Carbon rather than 0.75% 
Possibly slighty more suitable for "impact" work (chopping etc) dependent on the treatment 
Probably easier to sharpen
