I totally get why people would want orange scales, but I'm a lot less convinced by the lime green blades.

that little Candiru does look very good, especially with the full handle IMO. :tu:

I actually quite like the orange scales, but the green blades are just to OTT for me. :)

I agree, the orange looks nice but a black blade would look better.

Well at least they don't look threatening?

Actually I might pick up a Junglas in that color. That way I won't be losing it.

Part of me recoils on seeing these,  but they stand out. For a knife that I NEED so that I can stay safe and alive, that's not a bad thing usually.

:ahhh 2-3 weeks till we have Candiru  :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh
CLICKY
:ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh :ahhh

I think i've convinced myself i don't really need a izula as the becker bk11 serves me well.

The question with the Candiru is... if i go desert tan do i want the orange g10 or grey/green micarta??  ???

also i wish i lived closer to people so i could borrow someones izula to see if i actually like it... I didn't like the bk14 eskebar, the handle/blade wasn't right, it seeemed more a case of 'well everyone says they want an izula handle and a becker blade in comparassion reviews... so lets do it.

Te green looks like the zinc chromate in a gutted airplane.  Get rid of the orange, and I might be able to tolerate it.

That colour combination creates a paradox; you'd want to lose it on purpose, but there's no way you could.

I'm with ironraven. While they are retina burning to the point of causing nausea, they will also be super easy to find. Even in an adrenaline pumping survival situation. Drop one of those knives and you won't have any problem finding it. Need someone else to find and bring it to you? Easy: "Get my knife. It is on the blue backpack over there. Orange and green. Go!"

I've never understood emergency equipment or survival gear that was camo/flat black/OD or other such colors. I'm not in the military (anymore), potentially operating in hostile territory where camouflage and concealment is required. It is emergency or survival gear, getting noticed is good. :)

I don't care for the green and orange combo. I love orange.... But that green is awful!
Second, I really don't understand the need for a SS IZULA. I love the IZULA, but 440c stainless steel does not compare to 1095 for edge retention or toughness....

I want a Candiru!  :gimme:

  You mean black with orange handles?

i know i will be aiming for a simple desert tan. Probably go cheapo and paracord the handles. I've always loved orange as a colour, long before it was common on rescue items, its sort of ruined it for me  :-\

Whichever dealer gets the serial numbers betweeen 1950-2015 will be a rich since each 'year' will be high demand. The universe would be blessing me if i got no.1983
