Does anyone melt Silver or Gold?

Just seeing if anyone knows how to and has the equipment to melt Silver, Copper, or Gold?

I used to work in watch and jewelry repair in another lifetime. I don't have any of the equipment anymore but all you really need is a blowtorch and a crucible.

What about material that is not pure. How do you separate the materials? Obviously different materials will melt at different temperatures, but how do you separate them?

For that you are getting specialized and you'll need to get someone else to do that for you.

Yea that's what I was thinking. I still might need to melt some pure materials such as copper or gold. I will send you a PM if I need any info.
