MultiTool used on "Animal Cops Houston"
on: February 25, 2012, 06:33:26 AM
I don't normally watch the animal rescue shows because it tears me up to see the animals treated so badly, but yesterday the channel happened to be on "Animal Cops Houston", and there were 2 animal control officers trying to confiscate a Rottweiler and a chow from a fenced in yard.  I was applying neatsfoot oil to a holster, so I wasn't paying much attention, but one time when I looked up, I saw one of the officers using what looked like a Leatherman Surge when they were repairing the fence after they had removed the dogs.
It made me think Surge because of the size of the tool and the shape of the body.
Did anyone else catch it?

I have a pretty thick skin and very few things get to me.  Animal abuse and or negligence is one of the few things that makes me go from laid back and happy to extremely angry and potentially very violent in a matter of seconds so I avoid these shows like the plague.

Still, it's nice to see the folks that help these poor animals are well equipped!

On a segment of a police show named "The Beat" I saw a Vancouver policeman carrying a Leatherman Surge(?) on his duty belt.  He bent over in front of the camera to assist someone, and I could plainly see the sheath, judging by it's size, it may have been a Surge.
