Did the application/print server upgrade today, one of those things that shouldn't be too bad, but ends up being a lesson in perseverance and patience. Of course none of the printers wanted to cooperate, and then Server 2008 kept changing permissions for no good reason.
Then the inevitable call comes that someone's program isn't working while you are trying to fix 10 other problems. And you get this conversation:
"What's wrong?"
"It won't start"
"Has it been acting up at all?"
"Well for the past few weeks I've had to click on 'ignore' a bunch of times each day, but then it was OK"
"Why didn't you say something
sooner?"
"I thought you were busy"
