Selling and shipping questions

So I feel like a total Noob here but ...

I am seriouslly considering selling some of my collection, as Money and space is a huge issue, and I will not use everything I have.

The questions are.

How do I ship them? are their any prefered shippers, or suggested ones. obviouslly cheaper the better, unless they are not worht the discount.

also any suggestions on how to come to a fair price? I have a Juice, I may sacrifice, that originally had nicked pliers, that I worked loose, unfortunately I scratched the anodized coatinbg before getting a case, other than that its in excelent condition.

Have a coule of wegners, that the plastic handles are scratched as well.

I am sure I am forgetting something but the hour is late so hopefully It will come after sweet sweet sleep.

I dont want to sell, em but, I have learned that I no longer feel safe with non locking tools, and that certain designs I no longer like (gerber multi plier 600) after using another make and model (the original wave)

I got offered a really great deal on one I really want, but need to make up the money I will be spending. since I can barely spare any on the side.

Well first it depends on where your located. US or other? Speaking only of the US I like to use USPS priority mail. It can be insured, tracked, and even delivered with a signature. As well as value of your knives. I would say to ask Felienevet. He's a super guy and would not tell you wrong. On multis there are many of us here that would tell you a faire price. I would say eBay but most people don't like that place but it can give you a rough start.

oh any suggestions on how to transact $$. Can I use paypal? Or are their other alternatives?

Conus means, I think, CONtinenetal US. It means that the seller does not want to make anybody not in the US happy..

Really annoying for the rest of us who miss out on the goods.

Some sellers worry about shipping out of the US so they inform people that they will not.

Paypal is good for most people.

PayPal is usual method of payment...

For shipping, it is mostly (my experience) upon seller and buyer to agree between...

USPS First Class International worked for every shipment I received from US, but it depends on cost of actual item shipped. If it needs insurance, tracking or something else, or if it is large item (i.e. bag, or water bottle) then it will cost more to ship...

But one way or the other, everything is open for mutual agreement, which is IMHO the best... And you'll see that people arround here are more than willing to reach mutual understanding!!

USPS is usually the most cost effective but obviously no insurance etc. Make sure YOU keep proof of postage at your end.

Packing wise, lots of bubble wrap, lots of tape inside and out, and make the box/packet hard work to get in to for the thieves that seem to work for some of our postal services

Most importantly, please sell to us poor used tool starved islanders over here

CONUS does indeed mean Continental US, which means Alaska, Hawaii and APO's (troops serving abroad) are SOL as well. That is the difference between CONUS and US Only.
