For the motorcycles, it consists of

CO2 cartridge air pump
CO2 cartridges (duh)
Tire plugs (mushroom type) and installer
Whatever SAK and Atwood I have in my pockets
Credit card.  :D

I'll have to think about what all is in the Land Rover...

I have been game-planning my trunk contents since before I had a car; I had never understood why so few people carry nothing to deal with emergencies. I probably need to go do inventory since I sometimes add new items and forget about them, but here is a mostly complete list from memory:

Tool kit, including hammer, wrenches, sockets, pliers, screwdrivers, flares, tire plugs, 12v air compressor
WD-40 and duct tape
Assorted gloves
3 D-cell Maglite
System jacket (fleece + nylon rain shell = winter coat)
Complete change of clothing
Waterproof hiking boots and socks
Outdoor survival gear (poncho, multitool, SAK, cordage, fire/water/shelter, etc)

Seasonal items:
Snow shovel
Insulated overalls, hat, gloves

In my truck I have the same gear, but with some additions:
Rope
chain
retrieval strap
tow strap
D-ring shackles
Come-along
Axe, bow saw, D-handle shovel

If I expect bad winter weather, really bad summer weather, or zombies then more stuff is added to augment.  :D

I recently added some snow specific stuff in preparation for the British winter thats probably going to put the whole country on hold for a few days at least.

Including:

Big heavy duty shovel
Loads of de icer
Extra anti freeze for washers
Ice scrapers
Warm clothing
Sleeping bag
Extra food and water

Not sure about getting any snow chains, hopefully the roads will be gritted properly this year so might hold off on them for a while yet.
