Nice!

I am almost prepped and loaded to search for a matching REBAR as yours!!!

And, that is cool mug that you have there as well.

You should include a picture in the LM and coffee thread🤪

Are you opting for the Green Rebar? It comes with a really nice green canvas sheath as well

Yes, but when I acquired my SEINNA, the sheath was no longer included.  Packaging even changed to a cutout for the tool only.

So for now, I will keep my eyes peeled for the REBAR on your flavor on the auction site.  🥹

But I will admit, if I find one, it will never develop the character that your Rebar exhibits.  You see my SS REBAR, is my trusted tool of choice, and it has proven itself bomb proof!   A few scratches, but that is it, after 10 years of service in 3 different jobs; construction, YMCA MAINTENANCE (chemicals), and now retirement- but still moving fixing anything/everything.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

There's lots I like about this particular flavour of Rebar. I like the two tones of green - easy for me to see and identify which tool is in which handle. I like the way it's wearing and especially that the bare metal beneath doesn't have the brushed steel finish  that I hate so much. The sheath it came with is a snazzy light green and extremely robust.
Here's a nice picture of my favourite area of wear:

I like that sheath!  I have the black one.  Both my Dad and my father in law were big Leatherman fans.  I think they would have lived the Rebar.  It's made for people who fix things.  Literally everything you need and nothing you don't.

Some of this is a bit overboard, but I hope you can see this Mags.  It's a toughness test Leatherman did on the Rebar.  The only failure I've ever had was a regular screwdriver snapping when I tried to use it to pry something open.  Other than that, this tool is bulletproof!

Wow Barry, that was wild! Thanks for posting it. I'm quite active on Instagram (model related, not mt's), under @ronaldcorvid

I think Antti said he'd snapped his driver as well. Good to know that's the only potential weak spot, and you two were naughty boys abusing your tools.

My pliers show the most wear, yet the SS HANDLES have been exposed to cement working surfaces, pool stabilization chemicals,  other cleaners and solvents. Still look pretty good for a daily user and every weekend warrior type project.

[ You are not allowed to view this attachment ]

The black box leather sheath has not worn as well, that I finally upgraded to the heritage style when found at Sportsman Warehouse with a discounted price.  After oiling it down it has stood up to time and moisture and dirt.

In my mind the REBAR IS THE BEST VALUE!

Most reliable, and yet today I still shake my head when I look at awl the other LM MTs I have and think W H Y ?

The REBAR delivers when needed.
If I start and end the day above ground, it is a good day!

Hope yours is as good!

6 months of EDC and use?  You and LC have sold me too!  You both use the Rebar for actual day to day use in some tough environments.

Mags, I don't think I've found many blades that cut like the Rebar blades.  Those things are sharp!!

 :iagree:

The family;
SuperTool300 is the oldest and most practical!

REBAR, a typical middle child, whimsical yet can be the most functional in any situation. Including being a cut up of any material needing reducing.

BOND, the little one, can take most anywhere and it behaves, but knows how to deliver if required.

Between the three, any are a wise choice to take with you anytime real work is required to be completed.

No need to impress, just get it done!  :viking:
