First pics for 2020  :).

Went on a short hike (first one in months) and took this big boy with me...

My first Buck  :D.

Had my eyes on this one for a long time, but at 50 Euro I decided I'd rather save my money for a Buck Ranger 112.  But then it was at - 30% discount at the local store and they only had one left.  But still... A bit too much.

Then it went to - 50%, but I really wanted that Ranger.  And when I returned to the store two weeks later it was gone...

Until my wife gave me a surprise gift on Christmas...  :dd:

Nice pics T-G-24!

Had a great day in the woods with my junior today.
On the fire we made swiss cervelat sausages, stick bread and onions.
Out in nature, the simplest things are sooo delicious!
Afterwards there was a beginner lesson carving.

Beautiful pics Sneider  :like:.

And you're right, out in nature every meal feels like a feast, but what you guys are prepairing there looks like a feast no matter where you eat it .
Last summer me and my family went to the Belgian Ardenne forest a couple of times for a hike, and on two of those hikes we also had a "warm" picnic, one time we heated up Macaroni bacon and cheese that my wife prepaired the day before, and the other time we just had some scrambled eggs (so simple but man, sooo good when you're outside).  Good times I say  :dd:.

Thanks for sharing that great moment here my friend, I really appreciate it  :salute:.

Greetings from Belgium .

Some pics from last summer, during a hike to "Le Cheslé de Bérisménil", around 800 B.C. there was a Celtic "fort" here, and after archeological research in the 60's they reconstructed parts of this fort in the 80's.

It's a beautiful hike to this site, on which you descend to the river Ourthe and follow it to "Le Cheslé".

Apologies for just how pic heavy this post got, I had a hard time making up my mind which pic to post...

Anyway, hope you guys enjoyed it  :salute:.

Thanks guys .

I'm just trying to kick-start "my" old topic again, it's been quiet here for way too long...

For personal reasons I haven't been able to go outside much (let alone take tool pics) the past 5 months or so, went through a rough period at work, which lead to me not being quite myself at home either...

Anyway, just took a radical decision 2 weeks ago (job related), and we'll see what the future will bring us.

Hang in there TG.  I made a radical decision now 17 years.  Then again 12 years ago.  Its always a rough time but change often is.  I'll be keeping you and your family in my prayers my friend.

True, very true...

I've made a similar decision 15 years ago, but never thought back then that I would be "forced" to do the same 15 years later...

Oh well, the situation got to a point that it was making my life miserable at home as well, than it's time to act.  And I prefer to keep the honor to myself...

Still have to go back to pick up my papers and my stuff, and to give somebody a final piece of my mind.

Thank you for the kind words my friend  :hatsoff:.

Today we walked on a hill near my city. There are remnants of a castle over 800 years old. The tower threatened to collapse, so the walls were stabilized, a staircase and a wooden roof were built. Now you can climb up and have a beautiful view from above.

Thanks, Wspeed.  :salute:

Today after work near urnäsch, switzerland. The first day of this year when the sun is still shining after my end of work. Finally the days are getting longer. What luck to work where others go on vacation.

Beautiful pics, as always...

My 2015 vacation to Switzerland was one of the best experiences I've had, and when our financial situation over here gets a bit better again, we will surely go back for another visit.

But for now, your pics help to "ease the pain"  ;).

Trying to make the best out of a bad situation with the whole lockdown thing.

In the past I used to take a lot of pics of my Multitools/SAKs and post them here.  Due to various reasons this hasn't been the case these past two years or so.

So, maybe I should use the extra free time to take some pics of tools that I acquired these last two years that nobody knows about.

Let's start with the first one, a tool that has been on my wish list for years.  And only through sheer luck I stumbled on this NIB beauty.

A NIB Leatherman Blast, the missing link in the evolution of the Supertool line, this one fits right between the ST200 and the ST300 in my collection.

One happy TG-24 here  :D.
