Flashlights up to $15 ideas, please?
on: July 08, 2012, 06:00:23 PM
When I go on eBay I really can't choose from allllll the flashlights available there. Of course, the first thing I choose them according to is my budget.... When I convert some seemingly cheap lights' prices into my currency, this kind of a hobby gets quite pricy for a person living far away from the States

So, guys, please, what ideas do you have about flashlights up to $15? I'll have to pay for shipping, too, so I hope to fit in $20 total ....

I guess most choices would be around keychain lights, which I love, anyway... So, experts, go on, give me ideas :D

Fenix E01 - ~$12-15
Gerber Infinity Ultra - ~$10 (clearance at SMKW, no longer applicable) - $20

Beyond that, there's always DealExtreme and a couple other HK sites. :tu:

I'm not flashlight expert but the Fenix E01 is great.

Tank007 and Romisen should have some decent ones at that price, with "normal" batteries. Also, for a bit more, fenix, jetbeam, xtar and so on, as well as the usual ****fire rebrands.
Apart of ebay look at: focalprice, dealextreme, manafont, kaidomain which I have been happy with and also dinodirect, bestofferbuy which I am currently trying. They all offer free shipping and have, regularly, 5% _ 10% coupons available ;). I am no expert in torches, just buy what ( like. Also look at budgetlight forums.

Agree with the ones mentioned. I'd add the ThruNite Ti. The 3-60 mode one would be a nice addition.

it's $0,99 more than $15 but with free worldwide shipping.

+1 Another vote for the ThruNite Ti(Tiny) 1AAA flashlight.  I've had mine for a couple of weeks now and it's a nice little EDC light for the money.

If you throw another $10 in, then you should buy an Ultrafire C2-T60.

How about those sunwayman keychain lights? They look a lot like Fenix e01  Does anyone have any experience with them?

Let me know when yours arrives :D This way I could, perhaps, approximately judge about how long it takes to mine :D

Stuff from the US takes about 10 days or so to arrive... can HK be thaaaat worse :D :D

Oh, trust me, Nuphoria wasn't kidding with the several weeks part. I got a confirmation mail from them that they are about to ship it half an hour ago. :ahhh so maybe in a month or so I will get it. The thing with these kind of shops is they don't stock items, they order them from their supplier when they have a big enough order and then ship them out. That's why they are so much cheaper then the competition. Keeping stock takes a lot of money.

Me too... They could've put that label OUT OF ORDER earlier and not let me know via e-mail over a week after my order *crazy*

Hm... lucky you? :D

I wonder if they'll let us know when the orders have actually SHIPPED?

I think dinodirect has a representative in Budgetlightforums.
It may be worth tracking her? down and talking about your problems.

I am not a member there but visit the site occasionally.

My orders were some Tank007 torches and batteries, by the way.
