MP600 head in MP400 body?
on: August 28, 2012, 11:12:07 PM
Hey, Gerber modders, I got a weird one for ya: Will the head of an MP600 fit into the body of an MP400?

I ask because I like the idea of a blunt-nose MP400 (plus a few possible implement swaps, haven't worked it all out yet) and the only blunt-nose 400's I've seen are the original non-locking ones.

If this is a truly stupid idea, feel free to point and laugh.  ;)

No way mang! The width is too fair to do it.

However, I had success grinding the tip
Of my Ss mp400 down into a blunt nose. It was just enough to hide completely inside the handles.

Not silly, but at least you know

  I say that all the time.  Too bad there are a lot of people I deal with who are too young to have any idea what I'm talking about... Like Ashley the other day.  :P
There's no such thing as "Too pretty to carry".  There's only "Too pretty NOT to carry"...... >:D

I had a feeling that was the case. And grinding the pliers tips down was my fallback plan.

Danke schön, mein freund!
