Days to weeks no computer

Does anyone else besides me go days to weeks and never use a computer just their phone for internet? I find I hardly ever use the actual computer anymore. I use my phone 9 out of 10 times.

Much prefer the laptop if it's in front of me, especially for forums - just the size and ease of use really.

However, tend to go on the iphone a lot an night before I sleep. Twitter, general news and that kind of thing.

I'll just use my phone for surfing the forums, but I'll usually use the iMac if there's a bunch of stuff I want to look up, or for certain sites that are awkward to use on the phone.

Since my computer is on the fritz I am mainly using my phone to communicate on the forum. I honestly dont like using my phone to browse the forum though.

Tapatalk makes it quite pleasant to browse these forums on most smartphones...

i hate using phone or tablet to really sit for a while and read some posts. For me...gotta have my tower pc , huge monitor, a good comfy chair, a glass of ice tea, indirect lighting from aquarium, cat underfoot and the ac on low.

phone / tablet good for quick reading, facebook.

I have a not-so-smart phone, you should see some of the things that have been sent out via autocorrect!

I can check the forum in text form only, no pics, and can't post from my phone. I'll check it several times a day from the phone, but when I get home, (and sometimes while at work), I post from an actual computer.

In the last hour or so I've logged in and posted from my desktop, then my phone /w tapatalk and now I'm on my laptop.

I'm online quite a lot aren't I?

I prefer desktop though, even if I log in from my phone I avoid the threads with pics and save them for my desktop time.

My phone is OK for when I'm on my lunch break or whatever, but it's my laptop that I do most of my browsing from.

Honestly? These days it's phone. It's faster to fire up my phone to check my e-mails and the forums I follow (here and Head-fi.org mostly) and get my newsfeeds.

Also, I've recently had a pretty dramatic change in my domestic situation and I'm now sharing a computer with a few other people.

It also helps that I've got a phone with a gigantic, really high quality screen.

Phone screen is too small for me

+ I think my HTC was staved of oxygen at birth

it does everything slowlyyyy & if I had to use it for the net I reckon I would end up throwing it

I often use tapatalk on forums but still computer for other sites, 4" screen is just way too small for most websites, and sites with a lot of links/menus doesn't work well at all with touchscreen.

I have tapatalk on my iphone, so posting from it is a breeze but navigation on the boards sucks. For some reason when a thread with over 15 or so pages loads it doesn't want to load the last pages, so you can't get to the newest posts on it.

I think that was fixed with the last update but I really prefer my laptop for forum surfing. I spend more time on my phone for general googling though, plenty of random thoughts pop into my head throughout the day and it's awesome to have a phone with internet.

Well my "smartphone" runs opera mini, java, and it is not that bad though a lot of the smileys do not appear so I have no idea if someone is joking or not when they make a weird comment.
No spelling checker either.
I only use it when I am in bed (sometimes when the netbook is too far away) or out and about and get really bored..

I would hate to try and do without my laptop.... I put a lot of mileage on my laptop, netbook and phone. My desktop doesn't see a lot of use except for downloading stuff, and even then it's mostly my wife that does that. It's been having issues lately, so it doesn't even really do that any more.

I suppose I could keep going without the netbook, but large parts of my job depend on being connected and productive on the move so I rely greatly on my phone and laptop.
