The Rambler opened a box of tea, snipped a loose thread, and helped pick some fuzz from the velcro on someone's coat tonight at a meeting. :)  Opening the tea turned into a discussion with a lady who is going out and getting herself a Classic now. :tu:

You can't say something like this without some details.

Also are you one of the village people?

Nope, just getting ready to get my engineer degree or if it doesn't happen soon enough to construct a death machine.

As far as the Hunter goes, I've just attached it with an aviator mechanic's keyring to the Pocketwrench 2 which I keep in the watch pocket. Keeps the Hunter straight and very low key in my pocket

Had a box of cigars stuck in the mailbox today. Leaning out the truck window one handed, it was impossible to get my fingers around it but the Farmer's can opener fished it right out!

Used the file tip, mini driver, tweezers (the pliers were too big!) and magnifier on my Swiss Champ  to try to repair a mechanical dial indicator.

One of the gears inside had been damaged, causing it to stick.  I managed to free it up a little but it's still not right.

Somebody broke my right external mirror a couple of days ago. I tried to put it back and the broken metal part had to be put under a hard plastic part that needed a great deal of force to bend temporarily. I tried screwdrivers from Charge and Spirit. I  tried Pocketwrench II. I tried the Crunch. Nothing. There wasn't enough space or I couldn't apply enough force.
Today I was angry by my mirror moving like a Parkinsonic  old man. I tried the  hook from my XLT. It was a matter of 2 seconds, a piece of cake! Why didn;t I think it earlier?
What a marvelous little tool!

I used a Climber to cut open a package containing new factory scales for the aforementioned Climber. Bordering on meta.  :D

A combo from the last few days:

-Used the pen from the Manager to write my friend's wedding card. Saved the day. It was on my keys though, which didn't help with the terrible handwriting.
-Further guitar tinkering. Using a combo of the Manager's screwdriver (amazing, love the magnetised tip), LM Squirt (wire cutters pliers on Gerber Dime crapped out) and LM Wave (for cutting guitar strings).
-Compact scissors and knife to hack into the first of my Xmas online shopping deliveries. It hasn't arrived yet, but I'll be gifting a Climber to my stepbrother!

In sad news, my bf lost the Alox Cadet and the novelty SAK I got him, going through the airport.  http://www.bonkersinstitute.org/medshow/zyprexaknife.html

My Victorinox Cadet saved me today: I have been borrowing a friend's scooter this week. I left work for a few minutes to go deposit my check in the bank and needed to get back. I somehow managed to bend the scooter key pretty badly while taking it out of the ignition. With the Cadet's flathead screwdriver, I was able to apply some force and flatten out the key enough to get back to work. I'm so glad I remembered to bring my SAK today!

I just used my Evogrip to try and cut a hose, but I didn't realize it had metal mesh in it.  Now my blade has a few chips in it. :(

I'm actually quite surprised at how easy it chipped.  I wasn't putting a lot of pressure on it. :(  I've intentionally cut wire, and other things I shouldn't have with my Pioneer, and no damage like that to it.  I might just touch this up, and not use it again.

I think they will.  I'll use my Lansky system, and that should do the trick I think.
