I got a copy of the new P!NK CD, a dvd of 'Dark Knight Returns' (the animated version of the first half of the classic graphic novel), a bear grylls ultimate survival tool thing, and a nice sCharger 5 solar charger with USB connecter to charge phones and such, in the event of emergency.

They did a brilliant job on that.  I cringed when I heard they were doing it as they often mess them up.  I refer you to the Doomsday cartoon they did, which IMHO was a huge letdown- the Death and Life Of Superman series was awesome.

I can't wait for part two!

I got a lovely Skinth to put my shinies in, and a Quantum DD light - that was on my wish list :D

Few other bits and bobs too like a book and a Res-Q-me for me the car. Best of all I got a lovely quiet day with no drama, and I'm slightly drunk

Ruby got a new bone so she's happy too!

With all the gifts unwrapped, I ended up with a few giftcards, a new hat and Tshirt from Cabelas, a Leatherman Style CS, and a Bench Vise!

I have been wanting a bench vise for so long, I was thrilled!  Now I might be able to do a bit more SAK modding, as I have never had a way to peen the rivets.  With the anvil on that vise I can surely do that.

Nice sander Ash- I have two very similar B&D sanders and they both work great despite me having put a fair bit of mileage on them!

I received (a bit early) a Victorinox Sentinal and Pioneer. On Christmas Eve I got an Old Timer Stockman, some candy, a little cash an iPad and an iTunes gift card. We had dinner with my mom and dad. And I got to see my brother which is all too rare these days so that was the best part.

Since we blew pretty much all our savings in June on the car, we deemed that it would be our birthday/anniversary/Christmas gift for this year.

However I did build the new Media PC that is pretty much a Christmas gift too... Also replaced our counter top vitro-ceramic hob as the old one had a burnt out element... huge difference as the new one heats up much faster and seems much better than the 8 year old model it's replaced.
The difficult we do immediately, the impossible takes a little longer.

We had a great Christmas here. I didn't get anything sharp or shiny, but I did get something Swiss.

I also got a torque wrench, a Bamboo Capture, the complete Star Wars collection on bluray, and Yoda!

I got a few t-shirts(long and short sleeves) and some socks from my folks, and one of my sisters gave me a bottle of hot sauce she found on a family trip to a cabin in Sevierville, TN last month.  The sauce looks interesting, but I haven't opened it yet.  :)

A photo my mom took from the back deck of the cabin they stayed in:
