Their stuff does look pretty cool.  I have been tempted many times.

Marc at edcdepot.com can get Maxpedition stuff.  :)

I have about 10 different Maxpedition bags, pouches and sheaths, including the single molle sheath shown. Heavy duty is an understatement! I have it attached to my Jumbo Versipack with a SURGE!!! in it. I can't recommend Maxpedition enough. :)

I'll have to take some pics of my Maxpedition set-up for you.

Thanks Mike and Eddie, I love Maxpedition gear. I have quite a few other pouches that I could swap out for the ones on there. I'll try and get some pics of those when I get home.

I got an email from Maxpedition saying their DevilDog Versipack is on sale.

I agree with the exceptional quality of anything maxpedition. I don't EDC a bag or "Murse" but I do wear a backpack for fishing. I have not yet found anything yet that fits my needs better than my Condor II. The only way this bag could be better IMO is if they were USA made. That way I could stop looking for a USA made equivalent to get rid of my Taiwan made Condor. Aside from that the bag is simply great. Here is a couple quick pics.

Surefire 6PL on the back and a maxpedition dump pouch to hold a 32 oz Nalgene on the side. Insides stuffed with more fishing junk than I could possibly use. :D

Nice bag GMA. I'm worried about someone stealing your Surefire though. You better send it to me. :D

That's why we have banner advertisers who ship north of the 43rd! :D

If I was restricted to buying only what's available in Canada, I'd have like 4 SAKs, and two multis! :D

Yeah, me too, it's just that there really aren't any around here.  I will always promote a couple of yahoos in Toronto though- www.SRKnives.com

Sean and Rodney are great guys to deal with.  I haven't been to their shop in years, but if you find yourself in need of a new knife in Toronto, they are in the Woodbine Mall on Hwy 27, just south of the 407.  Second floor, next to Sears.

Hikers Haven in Oakville has a very good selection of Multis , an SAKs , prices compare well with the US , Europe Bound in TO , and MEC are also very good . Hikers H. , and Europe bound are pretty good for lights , and are Surefire dealers . Le Baron , and Mail order division are also pretty good .

For Web gear I buy lots from R Nichols , and Tetragon Tasse in Miss.

Rodney and Sean have cut me a few killer package deals ( three or four pieces ).

If ya ever come to To. we can do some heavy duty retail therapy . Forgot to mention , the Canadian Leatherman repair depot , is behind Hind Hikers Haven . I have on occaision been able to cadge a few bits an pieces ( pocket clips , an eyeglass drivers etc. )

I haven't been to some of those shops in so long... I used to be a regular at Tetragon and Nichols, but I practically lived at S&R!

Gotta make time to go back there soon.  I may be passing through on my way up north in a couple of months if I can swing the time off, and if I do I'm going to try and wrangle an extra day in Toronto, but I doubt seriously that I'll be able to.

But I think Kydex starts to get brittle arround the 0 degree mark, and it can easily drop below that here, so I'm sure it can in Finland too :o

Or it might just be pretty thick sheets of kydex  , the cold weather risk has probably be over stated anyway, but I'd sooner not take the risk :)
