At least nobody here discovered this relic

Haha. I love this sort of thing. I think they could have gotten a lot more out it, though. Perhaps a 1/4" slot for bits. Maybe one of the the "arms" could be a nail pick with a file on the back.

I love that it has a bottle opener, but a cork screw would have been epic

Jesus turned water to wine. It should have a corkscrew, not a cap lifter.

And, I'm sorry if this offends anyone. Please take it only in the humorous way it is intended, but...
Shouldn't this thing have a pry tool for pulling nails?

Holy Multitool? That would have been usefull in "Maximum Overdrive" by Stephen King...
It wouldn't be the internet without people complaining.

I have now.

I'm not sure being a keyring should be allowed as 1 of it's 5 features though.
The flat head driver looks like it tapers to a point, making it pretty useless and they missed off using the top of the tool for anything useful like a hex or torx driver.
Also the centre could have had a 1/4" bit driver in it as the cross shape would give reasonable grip.

But for less than $6 it's a fair gimic.

I absolutely agree about the corkscrew and prybar being essential additions.

As far as i'm aware the other cross tool was the first printed multitool available on Shapeways and perhaps the first functional printed multitool ever.
https://www.shapeways.com/model/45593/a-bit-cross.html?li=search-results&materialId=23
The description annoys me though; anyone who describes a tool as just being an "IKEA standard tool" instead of saying what size hex it is and then that it happens to be a useful size to help assemble flat pack furniture doesn't inspire confidence in the hope that they themselves regularly use tools and therefore know enough about them to make one properly.
Pictures of most of my work can be found on my Facebook Page.
Also have a look at my Shapeways Shop and SW Torch Shop for 3D printed items.
