The Forte - A modern Flair
on: January 22, 2013, 05:38:58 PM
Here's my brand new cs4 I got in a trade. I made it into my modern Flair, now called the Juice Forte with the conversion of the saw into a fork. Everything else is standard.

The ONLY thing I wish I had on this is the pate knife, but you can't win em all.

Interesting. :tu: Did you soften the saw before grinding off the teeth and making the fork. What did you use? A blow torch?

(Image removed from quote.)

Nope. Carbide end mill. Like butter.

I did blow torch it to cherry to bend it. Not worried about it being soft now.

Nice one Eric.  I might have a use for a saw once a year, but a fork is great!  On my list of mods to do one day is a SAK hobo with Ti fork and spoon.  Just cuz... :D
PM me or email sakmodder [at] gmail . com if you are looking for custom SAK work.

I have a SS hobo SAK and I loved it for when I worked in an office. Now I have a whole kitchen at my disposal. But I somehow still pull out a MT blade to cut bread :)

Now all you need to do is fabricate a short spork to slip over the fork. You just never know when a spoon will come in handy.   :D

The original Eat N' Tool is on the heavy side. Bought one when I seen it at $5 at a local shop. Almost bought a couple more for gifts, but I didn't think any of my relations would of figured it out.

Wonder how much heavier the new CRKT Eat N' Tool II weighs?
