Merit Badges Participants shall carry and use one Soldier knife, the model of their choosing, for the duration of the 90 days and post a picture each day. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Farmer X SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Participate  in Challenge thread and post a photo of a Delemont SAK for thirty (30) consecutive days. Must put something in order and provide link to the post. Participate in a Challenge thread, carry at least one black edc item, and post a photo every day for 30 consecutive days.  Carry tools with single functions only. No multi-tools, no multi-layer Swiss Army Knives, no combo one-piece tools and post a photo for thirty (30) consecutive days. Start a new thread or Post in a Challenge Thread and post a photo of a Spartan  for 30 days Start a new thread with photos of at least 6 SAKs of different frame lengths and/or shapes in your collection. Eg 58mm, 74mm, 84mm regular, 84mm slim, 85mm etc Participate in a Challenge thread and post a photo of a SAK-alike, aka multi-layered, knife-based pocket tools for thirty (30) consecutive days. Farmer X again. I think this is my perfect SAK, as long as its coupled with a Rambler or other 58mm for the tweezers and toothpick.

Going a new route today. Having a rambler and a weekender together with a cobra xs. I got the weekender while buying another for a mod but have almost never carried it by itself

Well, I hope so  :cheers: so far it's working great and hardly noticeable in my pocket. Haven't used the pliers much yet

Sure can! My youngest used the rambler to change a battery in a lantern and I used the weekender to cut out a new one. Light use but it was fun for her to get that little screw out by herself

Hey, can I ask all you folks with the bails(/shackles?) in your SIs — is that something you added yourselves or did it come like that? I couldn't quite find the relevant info on the Wiki (although that's likely user error because that site is quite thorough).

I added mine - just some brass rod through the hollow rivet and peened.
You can get a model specific bail, though I don't know where you can buy them. Hope this helps

Not sure what to call this one, but I'm carrying it today. The in line awl helped me to prise off some screw caps. It did this job very successfully
