I'm thinking of buying one of these and was wondering what the verdict is on the CPM-S35VN steel and on the knife over all. Thanks in advance.

I have one and I am not too worried about the steel. I gave it a month of carry and used it to cut a LOT of cardboard and the edge was still great after that month. I gave it a mirror polish after that month and haven't even touched the edge since then.

If you have smaller hands, the ergonomics are fantastic and the smaller size makes it a really easy pocket carry (although it rides a little high). Lock back, my fave.
Why stop now?

The responses to s35vn is either you can't tell the difference from s30v, or that it's a bit softer.
