Those are some beautiful tools!

Who produced them, and how would someone go about obtaining some of them?

Also, what was his name?

I am sorry to hear of his passing.  He was obviously very talented.

Very sorry to hear that. Those are some interesting tools.

Also, you seem to be having problems with russian letters. The forum only recognises letters from the english alphabet and replaces all others with a ?? ?

Could you try replacing those letters with an english equivalent? :salute:

We have a few models in the multitool wiki, but NOKS tools were always interesting and a few members here would love to try them out.

Igor Skrylev graduated to train military engineers, to the end of life could not move away from the military-style design.

Death Skryleva very unexpected. He was in good spirits and good health. He started unknown device, and said that he had begun to receive, and then suddenly died. Destination device concealed but there is a photo. Sorry we did not know that he invented. Perhaps living creature understands appearance. I have a lot of assumptions.

Skrylev frequented exhibition IWA. On one of them, members of SOG knife interested Commandos, the year the company introduced a SOG knife revolver in the same way. When I asked about his reaction Skryleva to which he replied that his work used the medieval Russian rocker knife with two blades, and hence it is an idea already known.
Sorry that I write a lot of dead, maybe I'm not quite appropriate in the context of the forum, I did as I learned that it is unknown. I stop at this.

Please, don't stop. Continue with the information. As I told you in that other thread we do lack a lot of info on Russian made tools and you do seem to know a lot about them :salute:

After the knife "werewolf" Skrylev developed collapsible shovel multiinstrument 1997. Now I've seen these products China produces. I doubt that they have bought development.

I'm sorry I do not fully understand (automatic translator), but all the pictures here, this structure has disappeared. Melita firm produced only its design. Knox was his company and the name stands for knives from Russian designs Skryleva -NOKS (NOji Konstrukcii Skryleva)

These tools are not well known here.  Is there any way you could help members of this forum purchase any of these tools, or do you know of anyone that can?  I know many of us here (including me) have been wanting to get some of these tools for our own collections but they are almost impossible to find.  I have tried contacting NOKS directly several times and did not get any answer.

In the meantime, I would like to know as much as possibly about Mr Skrylev, so please keep posting all the photos and information you have.

His design tool Skrylev started with Naz (portable emergency), it consisted of a knife, a gun for hunting, plus 5.45 ammo pistol was applied which could be an ax and machete blade. In the figure a standard set.
In skryleva get the knife-blade machete WEREWOLF saw - UVSR VEPR and gun ..... But after the collapse of the Soviet Union, many military firms were unemployed and did not give the gun razrsheniya from the pressures of large firms. By tomuzhe standard pistol was not worse and already worked out.
