Rude Awakening

Rude Awakening

This tree has suddenly flowered in my yard, nothing on it last week and now a mass of blooms.



Of course these all have nectar in them and this morning there were at least a hundred of these all fighting and squarking at sun up.  What a bloody racket!  Who needs an alarm clock.

I shouldn't have complained about the lorikeets..
Now that it's dark, the whole tree looks like this..

Hmm. That lorikeet looks really yummy errh, dazzling I mean.

Lovely photos but I imagine the havoc in your yard. Hopefully they'll run out of nectar soon. Patience
