Have you seen "The Omega Man"? Its one of the movies of Charton Heston in the 70's.
I'm truly saddened. Chuck Heston was one of my favorite actors-he seemed a fine human being and a very honorable man. "The Omega Man" was a film I loved from my kiddie days- along with "Soylent Green" and "The Planet of the Apes" . ABC did show "The Ten Commandments" around Easter.

Based on the book "I Am Legend." An earlier movie version was made with Vincent Price and a more recent version with Will Smith.A better Heston sci-fi movie was "Soylent Green," with Heston and Edward G. Robinson. My favorite later Heston movie was "The Mountain Men" with Heston and Brian Keith which was released around 1980.Lots of beautiful scenery and realistic action. An accurate portrayal of the lives of frontier fur traders and Blackfeet Indians in the early 19th century. Some of it was based on the adventures of a real life mountain man named John Colter..
It's not just a loss for movie lovers, it's a great loss to the NRA and firearm enthusiasts and collectors of all types.
While many younger people may tend to think of his activism restricted to more conservative issues,it's often forgotten or neglected that he marched with Martin L. King Jr. for civil rights.
