Greetings from Swearengen.

How's it going?  Just joined the other day after browsing your forums for some time.

I'm primarily a range-rat who also enjoys camping, climbing, fishing (all types), hunting, and anything that assists me in these hobbies.

I (and most of my buddies) are always looking for a more efficient way of doing things and that has caused me to be one of the utility-minded (as it seems most of you are too) carrying multi-tools and spending $$$ on some of the more exotic gear available.  More often than not I end up laughing at myself or my friends as we end up breaking or hating the new stuff, but every so often we find that diamond that keeps us addicted to trying it out.

If I irritate you, it is more than likely cause I am one overly sarcastic guy, but it's usually because I see humor in almost any situation and can't help but laugh.  I'm that medically trained SOB who bandages friends/family but then as I drive to the ER can't help but raise an eyebrow and ask "so exactly what were you thinking just prior to saying "Ouch!!!""   lol.

See yas in the forums unless I'm banned.

You can't take life too seriously.  You aren't going to get out alive!

As you've noticed, our forum censor turns bad words into "smurf" so we probably aren't the self absorbed type who take themselves too seriously either, and its always fun to take a poke or two at the guy who is bleeding....

I'm sure you'll get along fine here!

Deadwood fan, Seinfeld fan, you can't be all bad.  What'd you get for Festivus???  I got insulted and cauliflower ear, it was the best Festivus ever!

Devil link follows:
SEINFELD - DAVID PUDDY MAD DEVILS FAN

Brodeur's a demi-god with lightning fast reflexes and a spine with the flexibility of al dente angel hair pasta.  He slaps pucks away with nonchalant ease and disdain for his foes.  His denial of five-hole opportunities had adversaries accusing him of illegal use of scrotum (which is entirely not his fault due to having oversized juevos).

:D They play that clip at some point every home game.  As for Festivus, I actually wasn't the most disappointing family member the past year to my mother, which actually made it pleasant!  My little brother took quite a while to pin Mom though, so dinner started getting cold.....  >:(  And yes, Marty is a goaltending God.  Always say your Hail Martys before a game.  :)  Too bad he's hurt at the moment....  :(

G'day & welcome mate  :D :D.

I had a high school teacher who used to say 'sarcasm is the lowest form of wit' all the time, I stopped using the quote when I realised my 'wit' tended to hang quite low at times  ::) :D

Let me guess...was he the subject of your wit??? lol

High school teachers are never the final word on life.

My friend was constantly insulted by our metal shop teacher for excessive and unnecessary detail work on ordinary projects.  Years go by, and my friend is a highly sought after custom engraver for Colt (and me whenever he's available).  He says he never goes to "work", he just wakes up every morning to go play.  My father, brother, uncle, and I (and all our guns) are sooooooo glad he ignored that teacher.
