What's your grail watch?

Money is no object or nothing stands in the way of obtaining your dream watch. What is your pick and why?

I'd go Omega Speedmaster Professional..the one Buzz Aldrin wore on the moon. Either than one or a current model. Think his was lost at the Smithsonian.

Why? It's just cool. I like space travel, i like watches, what better than the watch that was on the surface of the moon? 8) 8) 8) 8)

We are in the same boat.

1970 Omega Aqua Terra Seamaster.

I have a clone and I can't wait to afford one.

Also, a Bell and Ross is on my list as well.

I don't really have one currently

For ages when I was younger I wanted a Tag, then I grew to realise they were overpriced in so many ways, and actually quite tacky! I certainly wouldn't argue about a Seamaster though - such an elegant piece.

I have a big hankering for a ETA Valjoux 7750 movement, probably something by Ball, Hamilton or even a Marathon (although not at RRP!). I love watches and have stopped looking at them for a bit as the lovely ones are out of my price range!

I have a Monster, a Praetorian which is similar to a Marathon, other Seikos and Citizens... that should be enough to tide me over :D

Breitling Navitimer Montbrilliant Olympus.  Functional, durable, dependable, and elegant.  Always wanted one, just can't justify $18k for a watch no matter how well it's designed.

Or the Patek Philippe Grand Complications...but at a minimum of $236,500 I'll take a Ferrari first.

A Vacheron Constantin Tour de l'Ile would make me happy. But I'd settle for a Suunto Core (orange) or a Tissot T-Touch. I thought about the later two before I got my Casio Protrek that does the job for a quarter of the cost but there's no substitute for the Swiss watch.

Me loves Breitlings also, but their chronographs have a hold on me like nothing else does.

As a pilot in WW2 my grandfather had one issued (and he always cursed the officer who made him turn it in at war's end).  Back then, they were THE pilot's watch, and his reverence for them got passed down to me.

Mine would be the Wenger and Victorinox pocket watches. WAAAYYY more than I'm prepared to pay to know what time it is though, so I'll be sticking to my regular cheapies  :D

This.  Since I work in the aerospace industry, and qualify things for space flight, I really like the wording on the caseback.

I've always lusted for the Luminor Panerai. I like my watches big with a relatively minimalistic design.
