Chuck Norris and The Stig- long lost cousins?

Watching Top Gear I find it amusing how the "Some say..." jokes to introduce The Stig sound an awful lot like the Chuck Norris facts that you read online.  For example...

"The tide only comes in because Chuck Norris lets it."

“Some say that his first name really is “The”, and that if he went on Celebrity Love Island they’d all be pregnant, including the camera men. All we know is he’s called the Stig.”

I wonder... since the identity of The Stig has never been revealed (I believe Ben Collins was just trying to get attention to himself) and I don't recall ever seeing them together anywhere at the same time, so I wonder...?

"Some say that he's really Chuck Norris under that helmet, and that he usually drives so fast that he arrives at destinations before he departs.  All we know is, he's called the Stig!"

Sad to say Boss,Ben Collins was the second(first white)STIG,a ver talented,but under funded driver called Perry McCarthy was the original STIG.Perry had actually made it to F1,as well as having been involved in the Audi WSC program.

I like the local stig cousins they get when they're abroad... like the kungfu stig in China, or the tribal stig in Africa etc. Always a nice extra laugh.
