Spotlight SPECK... Makes my streamlight Nano look big.

I was down the local hardware and happened to spot these little gems. $8 with a spare set of batteries.

On a purely subjective test, i.e. shining them in my yard, it is slightly less bright than the Nano, but would do just as well to light up a dark path or as a personal beacon.
It beats the hell out of the LED in my Climber-Lite (Spartan-Lite plus scissors) and except for run time would top a Mini-Mag

I grabbed two and with the mini carabina included, the black one is going on my keyring and the red one just became permanent partner for my red/black Dime.

I've been eyeballing that one for a while now but can't find a retailer with normal shipping prices. :(

Here's one next to a fauxton for size reference.



I got two new and one used. I see there was a change in design also. :think:

Two o-rings on the blue one and the threads were also moved down. I'm not sure which of the designs is the newer one but I'm thinking the blue one for some reason. :shrug:
