I bet these are just extras off the factory. You can find lots of BG stuff on some sites like manafont and DX.

I researched a bit online and found out that it is probably a replica of one of the earlier knives from the time before he signed up with gerber.
Its probably a piece of junk.

That does indeed look a bit like the pre-gerber knife BG used, however that knife was made by a custom knife maker and cost something like £500 if you wanted one.

I'd give it an even chance at having better steel than the current Gerber/Grylls stuff.

some say it's made of ATS-34, some say it's aus8...but I ordered one last week to find out and see if it will be able to size up against the Gerber BG Ultimate Knife. I will post some pics later on

I was told that it takes about 3 weeks for china shipments to get here, so when the knife shows up at the front door, i'll definitely work on it.... til then, many cheers!

If it's anything like the fake sebenzas, they are very good quality/material for the price.
