That works very well indeed
as I'm sure i've said before i'm not 'overly' obsessed with tools being UK legal, in my book any blade will get you into hot water with a keen copper. I'd like to see a multitool with no blade making it ok to carry in an urban environment, but i often carry SAK's or a more dedicated knife so the blade on a multitool is often duplication i could live without.if my 'big tool' had NO blade it would be easy to pair it with a knife that suited the day , ie non-locking SAK for town, or a 8" sawback Rambo blade for chillin' round the house at the moment i'm liking the SOG powerlock without blade but a few 'extras' ! ie. i have a few driver bit's on the way i'm hopeing to mod into a chisle and package oppener (like the wingmans), would be nice to come up with a blade exchanger for 'jigsaw-blades' like that on the surge, but that's for another day, when all the other jobs i need to do are done and i have 'spare' time
I'm no expert in UK law, but I have to say that unless you are making a right arse of yourself with it, I can't imagine any cop wanting to fill out paperwork because someone was carrying an unlicensed set of pliers with a sharp bit on them. To be honest, if they did, I think that's the exact attitude I'd go to court with as well, and shame the law into doing the right thing, and I'm pretty certain I'd bring the media along to televise it.Hell, I bet you'd even get mentioned on Top Gear as part of a Jeremy Clarkson rant on overbearing government agencies! Def
I have 2 knifeless Fuses and they have proved extremely useful. If they did a knifeless Rebar, I'd definitely get a couple.
