Cellphones!

I was just wondering... How many of us use smartphones? I myself loathe the things, I really don't get along with touchscreens that small, actually find using my dad's ipad hard enough already  . That's why, when I needed a new phone last week, I went to the store to buy a cheap-ish nokia feature phone.

So, what do you use? Smartphone, 'dumb phone' or a feature phone with internet or stuff like that?

Samsung Galaxy S3 here. Not much into using them myself. However, I do find myself using it more and more due to the convenience.

Well I got an upgrade and I've been a smartphone user since. It's very handy for checking the weather and I'm typing this on it right now. So yeah, I'm guilty.

Motorola ATRIX here, which replaced my HTC Touch and which may soon be replaced itself.  Its a great phone but things don't survive long when I take them to work.

I have looked at those and I really like them but the screen is a bit small.  I have a hard enough time looking at spreadsheets on my current phone!

I was convinced smart phones had become one of those things "they" assume you have when I made a plane trip along with some friends last year. My friends passed through all checkpoints with only their phones, no paper, no check-in automats... I was a smartphone owner not that long after returning.

Same thing as with basic mobiles. I waited as long as I could, then everything became organized so everybody not having one didn't function properly along with other people. The same point has been reached with smartphones now.

Resistance is futile.  You will be assimilated.

I've had a smartphone since 2008, an HTC Touch Diamond, a Motorola Milestone (GSM version of the Droid) and now a Captivate Glide that I had to import. When I got a work phone last year I bought myself a cheap second hand Nokia E55 semi-smartphone (it was in its day) which has now got to the stage of basically being dead and work's just bought me a new CAT B15:

Should be fairly tough I hope!

It has support for dual SIMs so I might be able to get rid of my personal phone and stick the SIM in the work phone too, but I'm not 100% sure I want to do that.

Galaxy S3 currently. Had a HTC Desire before this.
In a different country at the moment and only have call and SMS roaming. Data roaming is prohibitively expensive. Feel cut off from the world without it.
