Its made of  2,7 mm 440C .
Its 278 mm long and 25 mm wide.
The handle is made of nice Blackline Maple  that i stabilised.

I haven't been on in a while, but when I saw this thread, I just had to respond. Over the last year I have added to my small collection of knifes. I have about a dozen fixed blades, and about thirty or so folders. I try to purchase USA made only, and have managed to stay under $ 200.00 dollars on all of my folders.

My collection includes, Benchmade, SpyderCo, Kershaw, Boker, Gerber, CRKT, S.O.G., Cold Steel, Case, and of course Buck. Not to mention the Zero Tolerance 0301 that is on it's way

The Buck knifes that I own are not vintage, in fact they are quite new. Maybe this matters to some, but I feel that these blades are of very good quality and will become vintage in there're time. They were all purchased new, and have never been carried.

That also may seem strange to some also, but as with 99.9 % of my multitools, I collect them only. I intend to leave my collection to my son, as I had no one with the foresight to do likewise. I very much enjoy them, even if I don't use them for their intended purpose.

So now I present to you...my Buck knife collection !

Buck Spitfire (orange)
Buck Spitfire (gray)
Buck Spitfire (green)
Buck Vantage Force Pro
Buck Odyssey 1
Buck Bantam BHW

Furthermore, I have read, and watched reviews on these blade that have been less then favorable. Keep in mind that all of these blades cost under $ 80.00 bucks (no pun intended), and I would stack them up against more expensive blades. I can speak to all of the requirements for a quality folder, like lock-up, blade centering and blade play. All of these knifes meet those requirements, and then some. In any case, I feel that these folders are worth the money spent.
