Honestly I would not even consider taking something like that on a plane.  Well it itself might not be illegal you will have to get it passed a bunch of people who do not have any sense of humor.  You can end up with a whole lot of trouble over something that is really not all that important.  I'm not going to restrict my future or my travel over a pocket knife, or rather some doofus in uniform with a god complex.

Oddly enough, I was allowed to read it once before the subscription popup.

I'm not stunned about the decision, but I'm pissed.

I've said it before and I'll say it again- it's not worth messing with the TSA.  There's too much to lose and nothing really to gain, and the whole mess is stacked very much against you.  I don't for a moment think you should roll over and give up, but the airport is not where you want to have that battle.

The kniferights email I got on this subject was titled... "Terminally Spineless Administration
TSA Caves - No Small Knives on Planes"

Air travel should decrease in the coming decades anyhow.. well become very expensive and more of a hassle.  Half the operating costs of an airline is fuel, and they will be getting more and more expensive.  Its not like you can have a solar powered plane, or hybrid.. or plug in.. I wonder what someone will figure out for alternative energy for that...   :D

Sure you can.  They're just slow and don't carry many people!  :D

Well, I guess I can rethink that TSA compliant custom from Syph now.

Idiots...   Back to carrying 3 rolls of nickels in a sock...

Well you're still allowed 7 inch screwdrivers, knitting needles and scissors.  That should cover your in flight stabbing needs.  :ahhh

Pardon my outrage here, but simply put...

F*CK TSA!!!
F*CK TSA!!!
F*CK TSA!!!
F*CK TSA!!!
F*CK TSA!!!
F*CK TSA!!!
F*CK TSA!!!
F*CK TSA!!!
F*CK TSA!!!

And their mothers, and the dog-damned horse they rode in on!

Not just a violation of the 4th amendment, but perpetrated by a legion of bumbling, babbling baboons no less!!!   And, they're so frakking full of themselves about it too!

TSA: Can't see London, can't see France, until we see your underpants!

TSA: More packages inspected on a daily basis than USPS!

TSA: Oh, don't worry, my hands are still warm from the last guy... now bend over!

TSA: More balls handled than Michael Jordan!

(I'll post more as I think of them...)

I feel pretty much exactly the same, only I'm not usually that polite about it.

So I've heard TSA is getting new, cutting edge inspection technology from the super secret research base at Area 51, based on recovered alien technology.

Anal probes.

They're going to be standard issue for every TSA baboon chimp hyena agent, and they'll be grafted on to their bodies in place of their left hand.

[Stan] What's an anal probe?

[Chef] It's where they stick this big metal hoopajoop up yah butt!
