New stuff

Does Leatherman have anything new coming out? I heard about the new Surge and pocket tools.
Thinking about getting at Raptor. Anybody know what the best deal is? I have not seen them on the shelves in Australia yet. "Knife Centre" won't let you pre-order for international shipping.
Eventually even McGyver got himself a Leatherman

I always caution people about pr-ordering tools.  Far too often a company is too happy to take your money and make you wait, often until well after the tools are readily available off the shelf at local stores.  We had members pre-order the Skeletools from big name dealers when they first came out and they were still waiting while other people were buying them off the shelf at Home Depot.

It happens fairly often and I hate to see someone parted from their money for no reason.

In addition to what you have already mentioned - A "silver" OHT is supposed to be coming out later this year. A redesigned Charge TTi has already been released. Also, Leatherman has a new Skeletool variant, the SX.

I think that's everything.

Here's a link where you can see all the new stuff going on with Leatherman, some even before it's even made. ;)

Except the updates to old models, of course. :D That you have to ask us. The Charge TTi got new scales this year, the Surge got new pliers with replaceable wire cutters, the micro screwdriver is gone and they added a retention spring to the blade exchanger, the main blades on the Wave sit lower inside the handles now due to new dies. I think someone said the scissors on the Squirt PS4 got an upgrade too to prevent the scissors spring breakage. Skele SX was mention already. There are also DLC coated ST300 and Micra available now, a 30th anniversary edition.

I think that's it.

Has anyone figured out what is taking the place of the micro bit driver on the Surge? The suspense is killing me! I literally check the LM website everyday to see if the new Surge has been added. Since the Surge already has basically everything, I am left scratching my head as to what will go in the now vacant slot.

I think I heard it is just a medium flat driver going there
