Watching it reminded me of Daisy's first time in the ocean.  We started playing a came where she jumped over incoming waves, and the poor thing didn't realize I was drawing her out deeper and deeper.  I really just wanted her to swim, but before she got that deep a giant wave crashed in, picked her up, flipped her upside down and dropped her again!

The poor thing was so terrified and confused that she got the hell out of the water as fast as possible and never went in again!  :D

And here we are deciding that the ocean is far too powerful and it's time to go home!

I think it's part of a series. Still cute enough to cause diabetes in even the grumpiest of people and lower the IQ of anyone within viewing distance. :D

That is cute, and it reminds me of the time Bob and I saw a lion with a ball like that.  We were meeting the other Bob (Pock-Its) at his hotel in Las Vegas and he was staying at the MGM Grand.  We were supposed to meet him in the lobby, not realizing the lobby is pretty well the entire city block!

The first Bob (J-sews) and I were wandering around when we came across a large enclosure with a lion and lioness inside, both happily dozing as lions do.

I guess the trainer decided to liven things up because he goes in with a giant ball like the one in the picture above and starts bouncing it off the ledge the lions are sleeping on.  The lioness tries to ignore it but the lion is watching it like a house cat watches a bit of string. 

Eventually he gets up and the lioness gives him a look like "Don't encourage him" and goes back to sleep while the lion starts pawing at the ball like a kitten with a ping pong ball.  Except that this kitten is a few hundred pounds, the ball is three feet across and the paw is bigger than my head!

Not long after that I get a call from Pock-Its Bob who is waiting for us somewhere else.  I told him we were by the lion enclosure.  His response?  "There's lions here?"
