Just like the previous SOSAK Knife Of The Year Editions we did, these came in a beautiful collector/presentation box!



Wenger sure does classy special models.  Victorinox also looked after us really well, but the hinged Wenger boxes were always nicer than the tins we got from Victorinox.



Seriously, do you really want me babbling between each pic like I usually do?  Or would you rather just look at the pics of this beautiful knife?



When Wenger says "Blackout" they mean it- note the black liners, black implements, black tooth pick, black tweezers, black keyring...



Face it, this thing is blacker than a Neil Gaiman novel.



Seriously, have you ever read Neil Gaiman books?  "The dark darkness darkened darkly until the inky blackness darkened darkly into the already dark but still darkening night."



I'm not a fan of his work really, but I think he might be the only person truly qualified to write a description for this knife.



Because I'm a horrible photographer it looks like there's more color than there is.  The blade is dark, the nail file is dark, and the rubber and plastic portions of the handle actually blend quite well together, despite the reflections seen in my pics that make them look different.



The only thing not black on this knife is the lettering on the blade, the very edge of the blade and the Wenger shield.



This seems like exactly the kind of knife the pilots of Stealth Fighters should have issued to them.



And the best part?  They are all ours!  No one else has these knives, just MTO members.  What more could you ask for?

Oh, I want one badly, just can't afford it this month.  They'll probably be all gone before it's within my budget.  It's an awesome SAK though and I will live in regret for not getting one

This certainly isn't one to miss. Not only are we not likely to have another seventh anniversary, but since Wenger is disappearing your chances are that much slimmer.
