The Swisstool and the Spirit can both take quite a beating, but I also had problems to start using them because they were so pretty. I only started using my Spirit once I owned more than one of them, so I had one to use for EDC, and one (and now some more ... ) as back up or for the collection.I've been carrying my Spirit every day for about two years now, and it has some minor scars, but I think it still looks as pretty as the day I bought it (most of the pics I post here from my Spirit are from my EDC Spirit, because that's the one I always have on me, so you can always check some of my pics to see how it looks now ).I bought myself a Rebar last week, and yesterday was the first time I carried it with my Swisschamp, without taking my Spirit with me for back up (because I didn't trust the Rebar, maybe stupid, I know), the Spirit has been the tool I had on me for the last two years, and it's not easy to break with that habit, but I'm going to try to leave the Spirit at home and use another tool for EDC from time to time .
I used my Spirit today to clean out the lint catcher in my dryer. I had to take it out to do it and it worked like a charm. The best phillip screw driver I have ever tried. Also, used the serrated knife blade to cut up some old ham for the dogs. It worked like a charm. I am sure glad I did not sell this one! You guys know what you are talking about. Thanks all.
