I love the way it looks.

Even though "shovel" is a bit far, I find "glass breaker" a bit redundant on what is essentially a heavy stick.

On a related note, is it me or these stuff are almost a license to print money? SK5 is pretty much 1080 and is dirt cheap. So you have two circuit boards sandwiching a piece of stamped steel and suddenly it cost 100 GBP...

  I thought that too, and re read it a few times to make sure I wasn't just being dense  and it's not $100 (USD) ... it's £100 (GBP), which is a lot more 

It's a nice looking bit of kit that looks like it would be a stinker to use. Vibration from every impact searing down the ful tang handle, cold exposed metal in cold weather, a spike that stops you batonning when the head gets stuck, a shovel .... what?? and then of course there's the price tag ...

Yes, but companies never actually use real currency conversion. Take something like a Playstation. It's both 300 dollars here and 300 pounds there. Makes no sense, but thems the breaks.

Yeah, I had the same thought about the shovel part. I mean I "could" use my tire iron as a shovel too.

Perhaps "wonderfully suited for use as a shovel" really means that you find someone else who has a shovel and say, "Dig me a hole or I'll hit you with my Tomahook!"
