The tools slide out except for the scissors. Tweezers are inserted like the Vic Classic.

That's the Gerber Keystyle  :) I was given one a while back by one of the members here.

I've got one somewhere

You'll find that the screwdrivers start to jam after edc-ing for a short time. That was one of the reasons I put mine into forced retirement!!
When it worked it was great, saved my bacon more times than I care to remember - but when the drivers start jamming the covers will  have to be removed to free up the slide mechanism.
I don't claim to know it all, but what I do know is right.

Wow! I have never even heard of this thing. What was the time frame for it? How big?

Too bad it wasn't executed better, I think something like this (with the slidey bits) would be awesome as an urban carry or companion type of tool (for a larger plier based tool).

If anyone wants a new green one this ebay seller has a Buy-It-Now for $24.99 with free US shipping:

http://www.ebay.com/itm/190908030345?ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT&_trksid=p3984.m1438.l2649

The usual caveats apply:  I have no connection with the seller, cannot vouch for them etc etc

This has been on my Watch List for quite a while without me ever pulling the trigger to buy, so obviously I don't want it that much.  I have seen a few other used ones cheaper form time to time.

It's $10 for shipping to Canada.
