I got it, I got it! What is it?
on: November 26, 2013, 11:56:33 PM
I hope I am on the right forum for this question.  I just bought this knife at an auction.

It is a kitchen knife from Marietti of Italy.

Is this knife genuine?  What type of knife is it?  Does the knife have a name?

Thanks in advance.   Have a Happy Thanksgiving :tu:

Interesting. :tu: Looks like a mix between a Japanese higonokami knife and the French Opinel.

+1

But I like this version a lot better, it looks a little more refined, especially at the locking collar.

Answering your questions:

Yes, it is a knife.

It's a cutting knife.

Yes, it has. It's name is Knurfel. Knurfel the Knife.

Sorry, man. Don't know much about it but it looks very good and if it cuts well and you like it, that's what counts!
