.....you need to open a can, drive a screw or perform a similar task THEN spend 10 minutes deciding which one of the multitools you carry to take out and use.   :multi: :tool: :D :climber:

Your kid says "Oh did you get another tool?" and you spend 20 minutes explaining the differences between the Juice line.   The whole time she had her ear buds in and didn't hear a thing you said, and you don't really mind to explain it all over again.

somebody puts a leatherman sticker on your work room door for you (with a bit of tape, as an actual gift not really stuck to it) and you have no idea whom.

Since you too have daughters you can relate big time.  Its ok I made her sit and go through them as I talked haha.  She wants a MiniChamp so I'll get her hooked so we can chat about MTs and Victorinox.  Wait... You know you have a MT problem when you are trying to get your kids hooked!

You have a problem when you use your hard earned money to buy your fellow security officer a Leatherman just to get him hooked.

My youngest is 14 and took a liking to MrPinchy and the PPP.  She liked how smooth the PPP opened and the flicky goodness of the old Gerber.  I am getting her a MiniChamp so here's hoping :dd:

You may have a multtool problem if........... I changed pants because the jeans I like were dirty and the ones I had on's belt loops are too close for my Skinth to fit properly.  They also didn't have a coin pocket for my minichamp.

I recently got some Carhartt pants but realized I prefer horizontal front pocket openings vs ones that are angled.

Ya, I do this too. Mostly focused on belt loop position and spacing in addition to main pocket size and angle. Don't carry anything in the coin pocket but I did buy some 5.11 Taclites last year and they have a convenient knife pocket...
