I knew a girl who couldn't eat anything that was touching on her plate; potatoes had to be by themselves, peas by themselves, etc.

And then I've met people who smash all their food together and say "who cares, it all goes to the same place!"

Weirdos, all of them!

Yeah, I'm not that bad.  I don't much care of the potatoes are touching the meat, which it touching the peas and so on.  I don't mash them all up either- that kind of defeats the purpose of having individual foods together in the first place!

I take heart that my wife is actually even worse than I am when it comes to being a picky eater.  until she married me (at 25 years old) she'd never eaten a Twinkie, a donair (very popular here), poutine (also popular), or a Chicken McNugget from McDonalds.

I'm not picky, I just don't like vegetables(except corn) and dislike most fruits too. And casseroles, and salads, and anything green and leafy. That's not food, that's what food eats.

Sorry for crappy picture, its the start of the rainy season here with that comes swarms of bettles. The legs and wings are removed, fried with soy sauce, garlic and chili. It taste good actually somewhat of a nutty taste, may cause so itchyness due to allergic reaction in some people, I learned the hard way  :(

While in south afrika in survival school military training some of the locals shared with us how to cook tortoise on the fly. They wacked the head off and placed it upside down on some coals for a few hours all in all. Shell and all. Guess you could call it a one pot meal. When done you just peel back the bottom of the shell and dig in. The flavour was a bit odd but i guess if you are hungry enough you could have a go at just about anything.

Dear god, 96 ounces? The most I've ever attempted was 24, and I courageously finished it with a hell of a belly ache afterwards. I've had friends that've attempted 3 pound burgers (3 pounds of meat) and only one has managed to finish it. The burgers are the size of a large plate, with all the normal fixings like bun, lettuce, etc.

The best french fries are actually Belgian; you can try it yourself. You cut your fries the way you like them cut (I rough cut mine without peeling) and then you fry them until they are just soft, but not brown. Take them out and place them on a paper towel and let them cool down completely (usually only 15 minutes) then you toss them into the oil again. It is best when the first fry is at a slightly lower temperature of oil, but it doesn't make a huge difference. The second fry only takes a couple minutes and the fries get nice and brown and crispy on the outside, while still being very soft and juicy on the inside. Keep in mind though that this is not a cholesterol friendly preparation.

Thanks to my stupid acid reflux disease I can't eat spicy food(much) anymore. Occasionally I say screw it and eat it anyway but I pay for it. Although those ultra hot sauces are a bit much for me. Maybe 15 years ago when I had an iron stomach.

Today, my Fiance and I went out for dinner. We went to Chili's and I have to say it was the worst meal I have ever eaten. First off, my chicken was raw. Then, I sent it back, and they just gave it back to me. ( not even cooked!) I was pissed to say the least. When I got home, I called the store and spoke with the manager. He said that he will comp my next meal next time I go! (If I ever do!)

I lump all those bland tasteless places together, Chilis, Applebys, Bennigans, TGIF, and now Cheddars.

They do nothing great and everything mediocre.
