Pass around box
on: May 27, 2008, 05:20:47 PM
I think it would be a good idea to get a pass around box started. Wher a person could take a couple items And put a couple in the box what do ya think. maybe one of the moderators could get it started? :pok:

We seem to have several members from the US, the UK and Australia. Maybe each place could have its own.

How about a multitool.org raffle?  PayPal a $1 for a chance at a Charge or Vic Champ XLT or even better, for a Scibeer SAK?

Then send all the contents of the 3 boxes to the Philippines.

We have tried that before and there is always very few responses, possibly because the raffles have to be $5 minimum.  Paypal charges significant enough fees that if I charged $1, I would end up owing them a significant amount of money!

Raffles often end up with between five and ten entrants, so the odds are usually pretty good, but between the cost of the item to be raffled and the shipping to the winner... well it really doesn't do much to support the forum.

Nezza It is a noble thought to have this done. However I just 3 monthes ago was going to do a Zilla tool passaround and it was a nightmare to figure out. Just as stated above dif countries, and dif. custom offices. I was just worried about it getting siezed.
