Got a great deal on a Paratool yesterday, I mostlyboight it out of curiosity. Its an odd one, and I didnt realize that the newer v grind blade and HD saw wont quite fit in it until after I installed them... Im not sure this one will stay long.

SOG isn't as bad as people say. I still want a Vulcan. Yours has definitely turned a few heads.

The Vulcan is a sweet knife. Perfect blade centering, great blade profile and super smooth. It is one of their height end blades and it is up there with the best. I messed with a lot a lot of high end blades, and the Vulcan is a high end folder. You will not be disappointed if you get one.

I think it is nice to carry. Pocket clip is nice and tight so you won't lose it. Sets rather low in the pocket too.

Works great in a backpack ;)

I like it, it's a capable multi tool but a bit fiddly compared to a Leatherman. It a neat piece of engineering  :tu:

I miss my paratool, although it was BO and I really wanted/want a stainless one. It's on my "list" though to replace it someday.

My trusty Switchplier 2.0 has still been riding along with me. Love this tool.

Nice to hear it's panning out well long term  I've still not started carrying mine regularly yet. I've set mine up with the bit driver thing, which means I have to also carry the bit set and the adaptor. This makes it very capable and comfortable to use, but not decided how to make carrying all the extras work for me if that makes sense

Thanks, Folks! Been fiddling with it constantly since yesterday and I really like it. I put the sheath on my belt today and it's been riding along on my errands (and a lunch date with one of my little ladies :D). So far no heavy use but I did pop open a Coney Island Hard Root Beer last night and had to trim a straw for my Leena Bell at The Pita Pit a little while ago. This is my first experience with SOG scissors - they operate well, but they are not very effective, are they? That straw almost defeated them, but with persistence we prevailed :tu:

I never cared for their scissors but love the V-cutter - an easy swap-out :D

I intend to replace the knife with the v-cutter. I like having scissors, even if they are rubbish :D
