My Morakniv Bushcraft knife, ZT 0357, and the bottom one is my new Buck 119 Special on the left, and my father’s old similarly styled Buck knife he EDC’ed.

Thanks again, Chi!

OMG, I just saw this and was like dang that things got to be like :poh: I mean you normally start by doing the border but even on the inside of the puzzle there’s flat and corner edged pieces, and to top that off you don’t even know if the piece is right side up or right side down because it’s just a simple clear piece :dunno: so I just might have to convince the Mrs to get this one! This is the new version cause the old one was like a broken glass which also looks cool but also maybe a little easier..

I'm going to get this for my mrs -- she refuses to do the border first when doing puzzles and (drives me nuts), plus she doesn't look at the picture once she's started.

I rarely look at the picture once I've started either, and at some point, usually when I'm close to done or if there's a lot of pieces the same color, I'll stop trying to match colors and just start looking for shapes. It's just something my brain does automatically.  Clear pieces that you can't even tell if they are right side up would be exceptionally difficult though.

Well there’s nothing to look at on that puzzle, lol the last one I did was a globe, a 3D plastic puzzle that now sits in the living room, that was a pain 500 something pieces all curved but the more you got to the end the harder it got not because the less pieces but because it was hollow, and the pieces sis the snap to easy, so if you pressed to hard the world became flat.. I can take a pic,

540 pieces, all curved and no straight edged or corners, although you can cheat cause on the inside are numbers with an arrow so it would go like 45->46->47-> and so on, each piece connects to the next via making a trail, but that’s only if you cheat..

Nice watch, I like how the crown is off to 4 o'clock rather then 3 so your wrist / back of your hand won’t hit it, I have a few dive watches but there only invictas, the one thing I wish is that the markers were numbers rather then just •’s

Thanks JR :tu:

I think with these “proper” dive watches that are actually made and used for diving, there’s no numbers so there’s extra room for the lume which helps in murky water.
I’ve dived a lot in my old Aqualand and it worked very well

Agree re the 4 o’clock position makes for a much better profile

This is the closest to a dive watch I have. Up to 100 meters deep. I’m probably not going to ever be going that deep, unless I’m wearing concrete shoes.

Not the best of pics but the only thing I could find, it started as a charging station with magazine holder that I made like 18yrs ago but I kept upgrading it, here the kid and I added a watch rack, and on the other side a light and outlet (can’t see it) all while keeping the old station,, but the two I marked are the two divers, both automatic (self winding) so if not worn in like 3days forget it, it’s dead, the one below them is an atomic, not solar or charging, so it needs a battery, but pings off the towers and will keep the time set, funny thing was it doesn’t have a crown, and when the jeweler added a battery for me he couldn’t figure it out and I had to explain,, you set the digital part and then it will set, or if you override it, it will pick up the signal and totally set itself..

Nice watch ST :like:
haha me too I suspect :D

Deepest I’ve been is 45m off the continental shelf in Fiji. At that depth I felt the narcosis setting in after a few minutes (felt great haha) and if it wasn’t for the bubbles I wouldn’t have known which way was up.

Had to do deco stops back to the surface, superb dive on virgin reef, I can still picture the continental shelf going down and down into the distance

Good set up you’ve got there :like:

Nice looking watches
Yeah the having to wear it or it’ll stop mechanism gets a bit tiresome IMO, a mate of mine has a winder but not sure I could be bothered, doesn’t take too much to reset and get them going again usually, I’ve had a seiko that doesn’t want to restart recently so think it’s got me down on them, sending to them to fix soon

It’s a little hard to tell on my phone but that too one looks to have really good lume. I’m very interested in the atomic one that’s awesome, it’s like my digital clock, be good to know it’s always spot on

Some G-Shock models, in good or better condition, can be expensive! I still wish I had my solar triple sensor G-Shock. Now, my Garmin Instinct Solar 2 replaces it (finally) in memory and functionality. If you’re not the smarsmurfch type, or don’t care for the look of one, the Instinct 2 is perfect. I love how it lacks a touch screen, and as about the core functionality.

I'm definitely not the smart-watch type. I'd probably forget to charge one of those things!
